Ded Bus

Ded Bus Renovation ProjectI.C. Ded Peeples has purchased a 1961 Bristol Double Decker Bus that is desperate need of a complete major renovation. This is quite obvious from the photos. Our ultimate goal is to have the "Ded Bus" transformed into our traveling art studio and gallery for the I.C. Ded Peeples collection. Unfortunately, this project will not come without a price. We are estimating the total costs to be in the neighborhood of $15-20,000. That is some serious "Ded" money.

So, I.C. Ded Peeples is asking for your help. As our way of saying thanks, any one donating will not only have their name on our website, the artist will paint a whimsical "Ded" face just for you on the outside of the "Ded Bus" with your name, city and state.

Ded Bus Renovation ProjectWe are also looking for large commercial sponsors that would be interested in sponsoring a part of the renovation or the entire project. All commercial sponsors will have their business advertised on the back of the "Ded Bus" for all to see when we travel around to various shows and art fairs throughou tNew Mexico, Arizona and Colorado areas. In addition, to the advertisement on the "Ded Bus," the I.C. Ded Peeple's website will advertise your company as or way of saying thanks.

Here are just a few items needing attention. The windows will all have to be replaced which includes their encasements. This cost alone has been estimated to be $3-4,000. The electrical equipment must be renovated, new flooring installed, the engine needs to be rebuilt, the driver's compartment needs a new face lift, and a new paint job both outside and inside, just to name a few. We are in the process of selling the items that have already been removed from the "Ded Bus" such as the seats. The money received will all go towards the renovation.
